If you go into ur display settings you will find the option to change the resolution that ur display will show. With software that lets you 'force' meaning make the display accept a resolution that its not standard. This happens more often than not because companies limit the capacity of products to be able to sell 'better' versions for higher prices and by locking the capacity of a given product they can sell more affordable for the rest of the market while retaining the 'wow that one is better' factor to be able to sell again and again and again. To better explain imagine you have 1000 and a tv costs 1500 so you cant afford it. Now you see a tv for 900 and say hmm I can afford that but the resolution is not as great but I will buy and and once I can save 1500 I will buy the better one. Forcing resolution will work to certain extent and there will naturally be a limit as to how far you can push a display. You can also force refresh rate, but this is more likely to be directly tied to the resolution.

You will be able to play with the setting and fit something that you will like. For those of you who find my argument that companies will do this on purpose. I will explain it a better way, a single company will make CD roms and then sell tehm to other companies Samsung, Sony and so on.

These other companies then flash their drivers according to what they have paid the manufacturer and will let the driver capabilities stipulated by contracts. I have a CD ROM which I have flashed from the original that came with the dell computer to a flash from a company that had better support for the drive and went from only being able to write -DVD to also write +DVD's. Hope that explains. Forcing might void your warranty but in my experience my products have never yet suffered from defect due to me forcing hacking experimenting or over clocking. (I have had it rough in this life and if IMHO if I live limited by what I 'should' and not do I would be a miserable smart person not able to live up to my intelligence):) thanks.

Companies such as Nvidia and ATI provide with over clocking software that may or may not void your warranty depending on the user agreement. Black version processors and over clocking-able hardware are good examples.

Here is the list of files that you would need to download. After you have downloaded these files You would need to create a folder and name it Pentium Post Install. Transfer all the files to this folder as you would need these files after the installation process is complete. Step 1: Create Bootable USB Drive For Installing macOS High Sierra on Hackintosh. Let’s start to create the boot USB for macOS High Sierra. You will need access to Mac OS that can be a MacBook or some other Apple computer or PC running Mac OS.

If you don’t have access to some Apple computer or PC which is running Mac OS X then you can do it on Windows System using Virtual Machine. (Read This Article: ).

You will need the following in order to create your boot USB:. 16 Gb USB or more.

Download macOS High Sierra install file from the App Store. Download the Unibeast.

Download Multibeast. If you are using Nvidia Maxell or Pascal Graphics card, then you need to download an Nvidia Web Drivers. If you are using any USB Wi-Fi then you will need to download the drivers from the manufacturer website Before you start with creating the USB Installer, you need to erase the USB. Now insert the USB and go to spotlight search and search for Disk Utility. When in Disk Utility select your USB Drive and go to the Erase Tab now as USB Name the USB as USB and for format select Mac OS Extended Journaled.

If Disk Utility has Scheme option, then select GUID Partition Map. Okay now press the Erase button. Now in the Bootloader Configuration you will need to select the bootloader. If you are using newer UEFI system, then select the UEFI Boot Mode. If you are using Legacy system or older computer then select the Legacy Boot Mode and click Continue. In the Graphics Configuration, if you are using older 80 Radeon 4000 series then select the Inject ATI option.

If your graphic card is newer, then skip this step. If you are using older Nvidia graphics like 8000 9000 200 400 and some 600 series then we can check Inje ct NVIDIA option.

If your graphic card is newer like Maxwell or Pascal series, then skip the step. (I am using GTX 970 and GTX 980 Ti, therefore will not check-off anything on this Tab. We will manually install our graphics drivers.). Now, Copy the the Pentium Post Install Folder that you created earlier with all downloaded files in your USB Drive. We would need the files from this folder later. Now, Eject your USB and Shutdown Your PC.
