Getting Started With Quicken For Mac
I really appreciate Quicken MAC 2018 and what you are accomplishing, however, I feel like you are missing a big segment of your demographic. I am a 50 year old graphic design business owner who doesn’t ‘get’ numbers.
Artists, musicians and designers are very ‘Right-brained’ and accounting, etc. Isn’t naturally intuitive to us. I am new to Quicken and have not been able to find any decent training on how to use the application. I have been in it now for about 3 months and still can’t figure out how to utilize the program.I am using Quicken MAC 2018 and the only thing I’ve found are some ‘Reviews’ on YouTube. Your support/tips on the website are great for specific topics as long as you understand those topics and how they apply. I would pay money for some form of good video Overview/Training so I can actually USE the App.

There are some basic concepts, and many finer details, that are hard to discover on your own just using the Help menu and searching this site.
Quicken, like many software developers, long ago gave up producing thorough user documentation. For Quicken Windows users, there is a publisher willing to pay a writer (who gets help from Quicken) and put out a book, but there hasn't been a similar Mac book - presumably because the size of the market is smaller. The unfortunate economic reality is that while this state of affairs probably does cost the company some sales, it's probably not nearly enough to make them decide they'd lose less money paying someone to write, produce, edit and publish a comprehensive users guide.
