Sync Contacts Between Freeagent And Direct Mail For Mac

Sync Contacts Between Freeagent And Direct Mail For Mac Rating: 3,9/5 192 reviews

I'm going to be switching to Outlook on my Mac/iPhone/iPad and had a couple questions. I had been using Apple Mail, but the iOS app doesn't support rules, and rules setup in Mac mail don't sync to iOS. I switched to Gmail, which actually does everything I want, but if I'm going to be using the Office suite, I figure why not use the built in mail program. I have several IMAP email accounts and want them all to sync and be accessible to Outlook on all 3 devices.

Will I set these accounts up in the desktop version of Outlook, or will I have to do it on Outlook.com?. If I setup rules to direct mail to certain folders, will they carry over to each device so no matter where I check mail, the rule will take affect?. For my contacts, will I set those up in Outlook or on Outlook.com?.

On Outlook.com, what's the different between a folder and a contact list? I want to keep my contacts separate like family, business, friends and so on. Any tips or help anyone can provide would be great. Hi Skippermark, We appreciate you getting to know our products more before purchasing.
